Welcome to the website of our First Pres family. We are a family made up of people of all ages, from different walks of life and different faith traditions, as well as people who are new to the whole "faith" thing. Everyone is welcome. Really. There is room for everyone.
Worship services at First Pres have messages grounded in scripture and delivered in a personal, engaging style. Uplifting music is another hallmark. We love to employ the gifts of talented people and volunteer singers and instrumentalists to bring glory to God and depth and meaning to all who are present. We love our organ and sing hymns.
Parking is available in the First State Bank lot on Sunday mornings and on Charter and Lafayette streets.
Worship
Join us on Sundays at 10am, as we seek to join in fellowship to praise the living God. All are welcome, and we know that you’ll find a warm place in our community.
Music
Music is at the core of FPC, and there’s a place for you in our midst.
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. - Psalm 33:1-3
Sunday School
From age 1 to 100 and everything in between, FPC offers a variety of Sunday School classes designed to increase our knowledge of God through Jesus Christ and become more in tune with his call for our life’s journey.
